Mark Curtis

Mark Curtis currently works as anchor for 12 News at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. Mark returned to 12 News in July, 1995 from KTVI-TV in St. Louis, where he worked as sports director for five years. Before that, Curtis filled the same position at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis for several years. Before that, Mark had been a 12 News Sportscaster for seven years.
Mark attended the University of Georgia and American University and holds a bachelor's degree in psychology.
During his career, Mark has received numerous awards for his work, including five Emmy awards from the National Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences. He was named "Best Sports Anchor" in the Valley by the Phoenix chapter of American Women in Radio and Television. While at KTVI-TV, he was listed as "Best of St. Louis" in the sports and anchor category.
Outside of being anchor for 12 News, Mark is active in several charities including The Leukemia Society, United Cerebral Palsy and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Mark enjoys golfing, gardening, and sky-diving in his spare time. He currently resides in Scottsdale with his wife and their three children.
